successive occasions. In addition, the hose part can be designed thin-walled and it thus becomes easy to push in for dispensing the product. In addition, the hose part receives the necessary support during the dispensing and it is then in a completely protected position.

Description of a preferred embodiment of the portioning device according to the invention.
The dispensing device 1 shown in Figures 1-4 is intended for dispensing a liquid product 2, preferably food, e.g. ketchup, mustard, dressing or the like from a container 3 of flexible material. A hose part 4 of elastic and resilient material is connectable to the container 3 so that product 2 can flow from the container 3 into the hose part 4. The hose part 4 is compressible to portion the product 2 out of it and it can regain its original shape when the pressure ceases. A non-return valve 5 is arranged to close to prevent the product 2 from re-flowing from the hose part 4 to the container 3 when the hose part 4 is pressed in and an outflow valve 6 is arranged to open to allow the product 2 to flow out of the hose part 4 and to close this when it happened.
The container 3 can be placed in a cup-shaped part 7, which has a tube part 8, which is designed to allow insertion of the rod part 4 therein at the same time as the container 3 is placed in the bowl-shaped part 7. The tube part 8 has a pressure member 9 which can be portioning movement A into the pipe part 8 to push side parts 4a of the hose part 4 into it and into the pipe part 8 in a direction A1 towards opposite parts 8a of the pipe part 8, the latter parts 8a forming support for the hose part 4.
By this pressing in of the side part 4a, the volume in the hose part 4 is reduced, which means that product 2 is portioned out of it. Because the hose part 4 with essential parts of its circumference and essential parts of its length abuts against the pipe part 8, this thus forms a support sleeve 10 for the hose part 4 during the portioning out of product 2.
The pressure means 9 is arranged so that portioning movements A of predetermined size A2 can be imparted (see Figure 2) in order to effect a predetermined volume reduction of the inner parts of the hose part 4 and thereby portion out a predetermined amount of product 2 from the hose part 4 at each portioning time.
In order to be able to push in the hose part 4 with as low a compressive force as possible on the pressure member 9, this can be pivotally arranged on the pipe part 8 as a single-armed lever.
In addition, the pressure member 9 is preferably arranged so that it can push in such side parts 4a of the hose part 4, which is closest to the non-return valve 5, further into the pipe part 8 than parts of the hose part 4 which is closest to the outflow valve 6. This facilitates product 2 flows in the direction P towards the outflow valve 6 and via this out of the hose part 4.
The pipe part 8 has an elongate slot 11, which extends in a longitudinal direction upwards along it and the pressure member 9 is elongate, extends along the slot 11 and is insertable therein for pushing the side parts 4a of the hose part 4 into the pipe part 8. The pressure member 9 is pivotally mounted at the pipe part 8 below the slot 11 and it can thus be pivoted so that the side parts 4a inside upper parts 11a of the slot are pressed further into the pipe part 8 than the hose part 4 inside lower parts of the slot 11b.
The hose part 4 is designed so flexibly that its depressed side parts 4a can relay to an original shape and they can thereby return the pressure member 9 from a depressed position C to its initial position B.
The flare part 8 can be designed as a handle which can be held with one hand and the pressure member 9 can be arranged to be operated with the same hand. Furthermore, the pressure member 9 can preferably be snapped onto the pipe part 8 so that it can be pivoted relative thereto. The hose part 4 and the pipe part 8 can be conically tapered in the direction from the non-return valve 5 and the cup-shaped part 7 and the pipe part 8 can be formed as a unit of the same material.
The cup-shaped part 7 can have a downwardly directed part 12, which at the bottom merges into the pipe part 8, said downwardly directed part 12 being designed to allow such parts 4b of the hose part 4, which have the non-return valve 5, to be lowered therein.
The non-return valve 5 is arranged in an inlet part 4b of the hose part 4 and it has a fastening part 14 in the form of a washer or the like which engages in an annular groove 4c in the inlet part 4b so that the fastening part 14 is fixed thereto. The fastening part 14 has a tubular coupling part 16, which extends through the fastening part 14 in an upward direction out thereof, which has an oblique end edge and around which an inside of the fastening part 14 forms a valve seat 5a for the non-return valve 5. This has a valve body 5b of flexible material, which is arranged on the fastening part 14 so that it can cooperate with the valve seat 5a to close the non-return valve 5. In the inlet part 4b of the hose part 4 there may be support parts 8b to prevent the inlet part 4b expanding in radial directions when the pressure in the hose part is increased. This prevents leakage between the fastening part 14 and the inlet part 4b.
The discharge valve 6 may have an annular outer part 6a and a number, for example three, inwardly directed valve flaps 6b, which are arranged to abut each other with inner edges to keep the discharge valve 6 closed. The outer part 6a and the valve flaps 6b are preferably formed in one piece and of a flexible material. The valve flaps 6b are arranged so that they can be folded almost completely away to open the outflow valve 6 completely so that even larger particles in the product 2 can pass out through it. Furthermore, the valve flaps 6b are arranged to spring back to their initial positions when the pressure in the hose part 4 ceases to close the outflow valve 6.
The outflow valve 6 is arranged so that the pipe part 8 directly or via the hose part 4 grips its annular outer part 6a so that the pipe part 8 prevents the outer part 6a from expanding in radial directions. This ensures that the valve flaps 6b spring back to their valve closing positions with certainty and are kept in them, whereby after-drip from the hose part 4 is prevented.
A certain embodiment of the pressure means 9 may be designed to dispense a certain amount of product 2 out of the hose part 4 and such a pressure means 9 may be exchangeable towards another pressure means 9 of another embodiment for dispensing a different amount of product 2 in combination. thereby or as an alternative thereto, the position of a pressure member 9 on the pipe part 8 can be changed to achieve the same purpose.
In the embodiment of the container 3 shown in Figures 1-4, it has an inner coupling part 13, which may have an annular outer part 13a, which is arranged on the inside of an unbroken wall portion of the container 3. Said outer part 13a may have a number of inwardly directed legs 13b and an annular inner part 13c arranged thereon.
To portion product 2 out of a container 3, it is first placed on a base and the hose part 4 is connected to it by pushing the coupling part 16 through the wall portion of the container 3 and pressing the coupling part 16 to the annular outer part 13a of the inner coupling part 13. As a result, the hose part 4 is fixed to the container 3 and a connection has been opened between the container 3 and the hose part 4 so that product 2 can flow from the container 3 into it.
The container 3 is then placed with the hose part 4 attached thereto in the bowl-shaped shape, which is thus designed as a handle, is gripped with the hand and the pressure member 9 can be pressed in with the same hand. This means that the side parts 4a of the hose part 4 are pushed in and when the pressure member 9 is released, said side parts 4a return to their original shape, whereby a negative pressure arises in the hose part 4, whereby the non-return valve 5 is opened and product 2 is brought from the container 3 into the hose part 4 (see Figure 4, Pillar S). When this has happened and the pressure means 9 is pressed in again, the pressure in the hose part 4 will close the non-return valve 5 and open the outflow valve 6 and a certain amount of product 2 will be dispensed out of the hose part 4 via the outflow valve 6 (see figure 2, arrows P). When this dispensing is completed and the pressure means 9 is released, the side part 4a returns to its original shape and the pressure means 9 returns to its initial position B. In addition, the volume in the hose part 4 will increase and thereby the non-return valve 5 is opened again and new part of the product 2 is sucked into the hose part 4.
In the embodiment according to Figure 5, the portioning device 1 is used for portioning product out of a type of container 20, which is different from the container 3. The portioning device 1 can be directly connectable to this container 20 or be connectable to it via a hose ( not shown). In order to be able to connect the portioning device 1 directly to the container 20, this has a coupling part 20a which can have external threads. The fitting part 8 can in this case have a coupling part 8c with internal threads so that the coupling parts 20a, 8c can be connected to each other by screwing to each other. The inlet part 4b of the hose part 4 can in this case abut tightly against the inside of the pipe part 8 so that product 2 can not penetrate between the hose part 4 and the pipe part 8. Coupling parts 20a, 8c are open and product 2 can thus flow from the container 20 into the hose part 4 5 is open. Otherwise, the portioning device 1 can have the same or similar design as in Figures 1-4 and the portioning out of product 2 takes place in a manner as described previously.
The invention is not limited to the embodiment described above, but it may vary within the scope of the appended claims. Thus, the different parts of the portioning device 1 can be designed in a different way and this also applies to the containers 3 and 20. For example, the pipe part 8 can have a different wall structure than the one shown and there can be more than one pressure member 9. As examples of details not described in more detail, it is mentioned that the pressure member 9 can have a shaft-like part 9a which is so hookable in a long hole 8d in the pipe part 8 that the part 9a can be rotated in the long hole 8d.
In addition, in its function as a support sleeve 10, the pipe part 8 can form a support for the hose part 4 and allow it to accurately regain its original shape.
